Computer Science student, experienced network & systems engineer, specialising in Cloud and DevOps.

Michael is an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. With a strong focus on AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code and is a AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional and a HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.

Michael has worked for global organizations and recognizable brands, where he held key roles across Systems and Network Engineering. His expertise in these areas has allowed him to understand the underlying complexities of the modern IT landscape and how to manage and optimize infrastructure at scale.

As an experienced System/Network/Cloud/DevOps Engineer, Michael has a wealth of experience in managing complex projects and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of IT initiatives. He has an exceptional ability to identify and mitigate risks, plan, and manage budgets, and develop and implement effective strategies that meet business objectives.

Michael's technical skills are extensive, with a focus on cloud computing, DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code. He is an expert at using AWS technologies, such as EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and many others, to build secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructures. He is also well-versed in tools like Jenkins and Git, which he uses to automate and streamline workflows, deployments, and testing.

Michael holds numerous high distinctions from Computer Science courses at Deakin University and has pursued numerous training and certification programs throughout his career, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certifications.
